A non-eventful day traveling to one of our favorite RV parks. The property is owned by the estate of the original Siamese twins, Eng & Chang. They [both, of course] were employed by P.T. Barnum as living props to one of his side shows. Now get this, they were both married, to 2 different women! Imagine if you will, the initial meetings [2], courtships [2], the weddings [2], and the honeymoons [2]. And they both fathered children [imagine that!].

We enjoyed one of the nicest drives to-date in our motor home, from Ashland KY to Alexandria KY. This was one of those great off-interstate roadways that we occasionally stumble upon and are treated to a slower pace of life, rolling hills and farmland. There is no photo of this campground. The residents here are predominantly full time. Since 2008 we have noticed that many RV parks consist of more permanent residents than transients due to people downsizing [big time] to small trailers or RV's. The only thing noteworthy of the park is its name so that we remember it and never stay there again.

Another mostly wet travel day today as we started into the nation's corn belt. The campground was nice [for a KOA], quiet and mostly empty in the transient area. Maggie liked the walks here with minimal guarding of us required of her.
